Yes. Enter the lead passenger’s name and mobile number in Contact details so our driver can contact them directly. Use the email address where you would like to receive the booking confirmation and payment receipt. For a company invoice, select Billing address and enter the company name and billing details. If different passengers are travelling on Journey 1 and Journey 2, include each journey’s passenger name and mobile number in Comments.

Use Comments when booking to tell us about child seats, accessibility assistance, extra luggage or other requirements. For return bookings, specify which journey each request applies to. We’ll review your request and confirm whether it can be accommodated, along with any additional charges. Special requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed.

Check the passenger and suitcase capacities for your selected vehicle. Bag size matters, and oversized luggage, pushchairs or other bulky items may need a different vehicle or a trailer. Contact us before booking if you’re unsure whether everything will fit.

Fixed fares apply to direct journeys between Auckland Airport and Auckland City, with no additional stops. For journeys with stops, select Distance and use Add stop. All transfer fares include GST.

Yes. In Distance, select Return (new ride) to enter independent pickup and drop-off locations, passengers and luggage for Journey 2, using its return date and time, and choose a vehicle for each journey. Both journeys are paid for together, and your confirmation includes both journeys.

Return (same place) is intended as an outward and return journey within the same trip and includes up to 15 minutes of complimentary waiting at the destination. Longer waiting must be agreed and may incur additional charges. For separate pickup arrangements, choose Return (new ride). For extended use of a vehicle and driver, Hourly Chauffeur & Private Hire may be more suitable.

Free cancellation is available at least 24 hours before your booked pickup or service start time, except for any non-recoverable third-party costs disclosed before booking. For shared tours, the deadline is based on the advertised tour departure rather than your individual accommodation pickup. For private tours, it is based on your scheduled pickup. For bookings with Journey 1 and Journey 2, the deadline applies separately to each journey. Attraction tickets, third-party tours and dining reservations are subject to the relevant provider’s cancellation conditions, which may require 72 hours’ notice or longer. Any deduction is limited to the actual amount we cannot recover from the provider. Later cancellations and no-shows are normally non-refundable, subject to applicable consumer rights. Any cancellation charge will not exceed the total fare or a reasonable estimate of our loss, taking account of costs saved and any replacement booking. Cancel through your booking portal where available, or email contact@nztravelcompany.co.nz with your booking reference. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Airport and private transfers and Hourly Chauffeur & Private Hire require full payment when booking. Stripe card payments and PayPal are available through those booking forms. Shared and private tours use a separate secure Stripe checkout, with full payment or a 30% deposit when offered. All advertised fares include GST.

Shared tours allow separate customers to book seats on the same scheduled departure, with adult, child and infant fares. Choose four-hour Auckland Highlights, eight-hour Auckland Explorer, five-hour Piha & Waitākere Nature Escape or seven-hour Botanical Garden, Hūnua Falls & Coastal Escape above.

Private tours provide a vehicle exclusively for your group, with Standard or Executive travel for up to four, six or ten passengers. Choose our four- or eight-hour Auckland City Tours, six-hour Piha & Waitākere Tour, eight-hour Garden & Hūnua Tour, nine-hour Hobbiton & Lunch Tour or the twelve-hour Hobbiton with Lunch & Waitomo Glowworm Caves Tour.

Local private sightseeing tours have fixed group fares. The Hobbiton packages combine a fixed transport fare with compulsory admission and lunch charges for each actual guest according to age. Their official guided attraction experiences and dining may be shared with other visitors. One person can book a group option; every adult, child and infant counts towards its passenger limit. Attraction admission is included only where expressly stated on the selected tour page and booking confirmation. Our Garden & Hūnua Private Tour includes Riverhaven Artland admission, subject to operating hours, availability and confirmed access.

Our Hobbiton Movie Set & Lunch Private Tour includes official Hobbiton admission and lunch. Our Hobbiton with Lunch & Waitomo Glowworm Caves Private Tour includes official admission to both attractions and lunch. Compulsory admission and lunch charges are calculated for each actual guest according to age and included in the complete package total. Both packages close four days before departure. Your automatic NZ Travel Company confirmation does not itself confirm attraction admission times or a dining venue; we confirm those arrangements separately. If the included admissions cannot be secured or a suitable alternative agreed, we offer an alternative date or a full refund of your package payment.

Other tickets are additional unless stated otherwise. Before purchasing timed tickets separately, confirm transport availability and suitable admission times with us. Tickets bought directly from an attraction are subject to that provider’s booking and cancellation conditions.

NZ Travel Company’s 24-hour cancellation policy applies to our transport and tour services. Attraction tickets, third-party tours and dining reservations have separate provider cancellation conditions, which may require 72 hours’ notice or longer. If we arrange these as part of your package, a cancellation refund may exclude actual third-party costs we cannot recover, provided those conditions and costs were disclosed before booking. If you bought tickets directly from an attraction or another seller, contact that provider separately; cancelling with us does not cancel or refund those tickets. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Individual and solo bookings are welcome. All four shared tours normally require at least three passengers aged two or over across all bookings for the same departure. Infants count towards vehicle capacity but not this operating minimum. We may operate with fewer passengers. If minimum numbers are not reached and we cannot operate, we will contact you at least 24 hours before departure and offer an alternative or a full refund of payments made. You do not have to accept an alternative.

Custom itineraries belong under Private Tours. Pickup arrangements depend on the service: transfers use your booked pickup address, while tours will specify their pickup area or meeting point. Contact us to discuss a custom itinerary or a pickup outside the advertised area.

Contact us as soon as possible with your booking reference and updated details. Changes depend on vehicle and driver availability and may affect your fare. Do not assume a change has been accepted until it is confirmed.
